anti-German propaganda

money was need at the time to fund the war. so to get the money ads scared people into buying bonds. the ad depicts the enemy solider hurting a girl. it is meant to make you want to buy bonds for the war so that all the bad stuff doesn't happen anymore.

this ad was to boost women's' want to work. they placed a strong looking women to prove a point on just how Strong women are. "we can do it!" was the ideology that women could do the job of men. during war times women had to do male roles in the work force

the present day ad is one of the 2008 elections. the light and the hands are symbols. light is change and hope and the hands in the o shape stand for Obama. together the two show that Obama well bring change!!

I really do like your one poster of the woman saying we can do it. And you went into very good detail telling us what it meant. But I guess you can kind of see how the modern day poster is different from the posters back then. I would have liked to see a modern day poster related to today's war. But overall good job.
